In the pictures, a dummy couple, decked in wedding finery, representing the city’s culture, and donning masks of Alia and Ranbir were seen being taken to the marriage hall for their wedding ceremony.
Following traditions, the bride, Alia’s dummy, was picked up and brought in by two men (acting as her brothers). While the groom, Ranbir’s dummy representative, brought the baraat in a rickshaw decked with flowers.
In another pic, they both were seen sitting on a sofa, waiting for their imaginary guests to bestow their blessings on them on their D-day.
