Kangana Ranaut is very well known for speaking her mind, and all the more famous for getting pulled into controversies because of that.
From opening up about her relationship with Hrithik Roshan to the on-and-off jibe exchange with Manikarnika director Krish, she has never been the one to hold back her thoughts and opinions.
Recently, Kangana made the headlines when she made a rather snarky remark about Ranbir Kapoor.
She called him irresponsible for not speaking up about relevant political and social issues of the country.
“You have a house because of the country. You are able to sit on a Mercedes because of our citizen’s money”, she said addressing to Ranbir Kapoor.
The statements weren’t left unnoticed and soon there began another controversy!
However, it wasn’t long before Alia Bhatt stepped up in defence of Ranbir.
When asked about what she thinks of Kangana’s statement, she said, “I definitely don’t have the ability to speak as candidly as Kangana and I really respect her for that.”
“Maybe in a way she is right. We do hold back. But like my dad always says, there are already so many opinions in the world that the world can do with one less opinion.”
She didn’t hold back from praising Kangana for the way she speaks up. But simultaneously, and quite sassily, she also made her own point.
Indeed a good way to shut all critics up!
