Akshay Kumar Speaks Against Trolls Trash Talking Son Aarav, Says It Should Be Illegal

We are all aware of the unnecessary attention star kids garner and the trolling they’re subjected to. From their academics to social media posts everything about them becomes a headline. Many star parents like Kareena Kapoor Khan and Mira Kapoor have come forward to lash out at the trolls who are bashing their kids.

Akshay Kumar usually loves to stay away from controversies. He seldom makes statements that create a buzz in the B-town but when it comes to his kids Aarav and Nitara, he doesn’t mince his words!

Akshay in a recent interview with Hindustan Times expressed his disappointment on trolls directed towards his kids Aarav and Nitara. He said:

“I think anyone that tries to exploit kids without permission for their own gain might need to take a hard look in the mirror and ask themselves ‘would they want anyone to do this to their own children’?”

“As for those that troll toddlers and teens, I have no words for that kind of behavior. Trash talking anyone under 21 publicly should be illegal. It’s sad that such a great and powerful technology such as social media is tainted by people wanting to hurt, mock, humiliate or just insist on throwing opinions with no fear of the damage such hate can cause the youth,” he added.

Talking about training with his son Akshay said, “Training with my son is my biggest booster these days; I’ve just finished building our new functional gym and both Aarav and I have lost a few kilos and it feels great that no amount of work or education can keep us from what we love most #Games&Gains.”

On the film front, Akshay was last seen in multi-starrer Mission Mangal. He is currently prepping up for his upcoming film Prithviraj Chauhan.

Social media helps fans get up close and personal with celebs, bringing much of their personal life into the open. But as humans, one must respect the privacy of another human being and not subject teens and young children to online bullying. It’s a moral crime!
