Most of us have a Bollywood celebrity that we admire and look up to. Some of us love Shah Rukh Khan for his wit and respectful take on the #MeToo movement while others are inspired by Ranveer Singh’s ability to troll and laugh at himself. But there are times when the roles are reversed and these very superstars we idolize learn something from their fans.
Recently, Akshay Kumar revealed that his morning walk with daughter Nitaara turned into a life lesson when an elderly couple wowed them with their hospitality.
Today’s morning walk turned into a life lesson for the little one. We walked into this kind, old couple’s house for a sip of water and they made us the most delicious gur-roti. Truly, being kind costs nothing but means everything! pic.twitter.com/UOwm2ShwaX

Khiladi Kumar said that they’d asked the couple for water and received a warm welcome as well as scrumptious gur-roti. He believes that this incident will teach Nitaara that kindness goes a long way and the value of host-guest relationship (Atithi Devo Bhava).
The post has already received 89,000 likes and 7,800 retweets in a day. People are applauding the actor’s grounded and down-to-earth nature.

A very good beginning for the young Miss who will learn to respect the poor & the ordinary. Parents need to teach their children to respect one & all.

However, some Twitter users are wondering why there was a cameraperson around when the actor was on a morning walk.

Bhai…..take them to your house…feed them and have food with them.

Instead of eating what little they have , you could have taken them home and given them a nice nutritious meal in the comfort of your house , it could have been an experience of their lifetime

A while back, Imtiaz Ali shared the story of how a generous auto-driver helped him out during the Mumbai rains and gave him a free ride.
