Akshay Kumar Lauds 6-YO Who Says She’s Learning Self-Defense So No One Can Bully Her

B-town star Akshay Kumar has aced every genre of movies as of now, be it talking about societal issues through movies like ‘Padman’, ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ or entertaining us with his comedy in ‘Garam Masala’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiya’. Apart from giving us blockbuster movies, the ‘Kesari’ actor is also a master in karate and kickboxing among other sports.

Akshay, who is a black belt in karate, also owns a women’s self defense center (WSDC) in Mumbai along with Aaditya Thackeray with an aim to empower women and give them a life of dignity and self-respect through self-defence. Kumar recently attended the graduation day of WSDC and shared a video of a little girl from the event who’s confidence has blown his mind, reported HT.

Sharing the video on social media, he said how it is the confidence in the girl to take on the world which encourages his team to keep going.

When he asked the 6-year-old, why is she learning self-defence, the girl replied, “I like to play football. I wanted to get a side but I could not. Then my mother told me that if you learn self-defence, you will be able to get the ball.”

On asked how, she added, “When school girls see me, I don’t fight with them (players), but I tell them ‘you don’t fight with me’.” That way, nobody will be able to bully her. The girl’s confident response was also applauded by the people present at the event.

In an earlier video, he was also seen training young girls basic self-defence techniques.

Akshay has time and again spoken about the importance of self-defence, woman safety and empowerment in the country. We are proud of Khiladi Kumar for doing his best to support the women in the country.
