Ajay Devgn Says He Won’t Work with Pakistani Artists And Kajol Supports His Decision

The ban on Pakistani artists is quite the raging topic of discussion these days. The entire entertainment industry has been divided about what should or shouldn’t happen and few names like Nana Patekar, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Salman Khan, Rishi Kapoor and even Om Puri have given statements as to what their thoughts are. Ajay Devgn, who will soon be sen in Shivaay, his next action-thriller has something to say too.

Ajay Devgn in an interview with CNNNews18, said he would prefer not to work with Pakistani artists.

“Not (working with Pakistani artists) at the moment. I heard some people say that talks are the only way to continue. I want to see you getting into a fight with somebody after he gives you a tight slap on your face and you say ‘let’s have a talk right now.”

He further explained his stand as he doesn’t think ‘peace talks’ are an option anymore.

“You can’t clap with one hand,” said Ajay, “You keep talking to people but then they come and kill you. How can you still continue a dialogue?”

His wife and actress, Kajol came out in support of his statement and declared her sentiments to be the same.

When asked if banning Pakistani artists can harm the business, he asked how does that matter in front of the country?

“Country comes before money. What will you do with money if your country sinks?”

The power couple is indeed one of the rarer ones.
