But new opportunities come along when you least expect them to, right? This one lets you live in Italy for 3 months, all expenses paid!

What do I have to do exactly?

Grottole is a picturesque village, albeit faced with depopulation. Only 300 people populate it right now with most of the homes being empty. Your ‘job’ is to help Wonder Grottole put the village back on the map. Apart from the free accommodation, they will pay EUR 900 or approx INR 72,000 per month for expenses. You can learn the Italian language and Italian cooking (authentic pasta from scratch!) from locals. Essentially, helping the community, learning about their culture and hosting tourists.

The founder of Wonder Grottole, Silvio Donadio says,

“Our dream is to repopulate the historic centre of Grottole. Within 10 years we’d like to see the village full of people from different cultures, perfectly integrated with the local community.”

What is the application procedure?

If you’re over 18 with a valid passport, congratulations, you’re eligible to apply. Just fill in the form here before February 17, 2019. Psst…couples can apply together too. 4 people will be selected and made temporary residents of Grottole, Italy from June to August 2019.
