‘I Was Swimming In A Pool Of Tears’ Aditi Rao Hydari Speaks Of Anxiety During Lockdown

We all have our good and bad days. Especially during this lockdown period where most of us are confined at home. In fact, many people including celebrities have openly spoken about their lockdown blues.

Speaking of which, actor Aditi Rao Hydari recently gave fans a sneak peek into her quarantine days, saying she felt anxious too. The ‘Padmaavat’ actress revealed how she was shooting in Chennai but returned back home before the lockdown was announced. She thanked her mother as she was the one who asked her to come back home, reports Republic World.

However, despite being with friends and family in Hyderabad, Aditi admits that she has had distressing days during the three-month nationwide lockdown. She was quoted saying by Mumbai Mirror,

“I was anxious and swimming in tears. I missed being on the sets and was feeling frustrated that I couldn’t help people the way I wanted to.”

Being an optimist, the actor revealed that she sees a silver lining in every dark cloud. She mentioned how she is wisely using her time to help others in stress.

“Put a tub of muck in front of me and I will find something beautiful in it. So, I called my near and dear ones who were equally stressed, and helping them out helped me feel better.”

Aditi shared that she is using this time to reconnect with her creative side as well. “In the last eight-nine years, I haven’t been able to give too much time to dance and music. I used to practice Kalari, but then, I stopped. The break gave me time to reconnect with my creative side.”

In fact, she even started painting furniture for her cousin’s bachelor pad. And, like most of us, she even cooked new dishes. The actor learned new recipes and can now cook Bengali mustard mutton curry, yakhni pulao, and Mirchi ka salan. It sounds yummy, doesn’t’ it?

Honestly, Aditi’s lockdown diaries are relatable AF. Don’t you think so? Tell us!
