Simplicity Over Glamour: Aditi Rao Hydari & Siddharth’s Wedding Stands Apart Beautifully

No destination wedding, no big fuss about the event, no setting-off-to-wedding-destination paparazzi videos, no wedding invite posted on social media, no curiosity building, no over-the-top bridal look, no dazzle, just a plain old traditional simple wedding – Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth’s early morning wedding is a breath of fresh air in a world where celebrity weddings often feel more like elaborate Karan Johar productions than intimate ceremonies.

Their decision to tie the knot in a simple, traditional ceremony stands in stark contrast to the grand, often over-the-top celebrations that have become the norm in Bollywood. The couple secretly tied the knot at a 400-year-old temple in Wanaparthy, Telangana, which holds immense significance to Aditi Rao Hydari’s family, reported Indian Express.

Unlike the extravagant destination weddings with international guests, paparazzi capturing every move, and social media teasers designed to build curiosity, Aditi and Siddharth’s wedding was understated, intimate, and deeply rooted in tradition.

The ceremony took place at the historic Sri Ranganayakaswamy Temple. Her maternal grandfather was the last ruler of Wanaparthy Sansthanam, and the family has long been connected to the temple, making it a fitting location for such an important day.

Aditi, known for her elegance, opted for a traditional golden organza half-saree designed by Sabyasachi, paired with a matching striped blouse and gold jewellery.

Her decision to wear red alta, instead of the typical mehendi, and her natural, minimal makeup look gave her an ethereal, regal charm. Siddharth, too, kept it simple in a white kurta and veshti.

This wedding was not a PR dream or a media event designed to generate buzz. It was not about fashion statements or magazine spreads, but about two people coming together in a space that mattered to them and their families. This kind of quiet simplicity is rare in Bollywood, where celebrity weddings are often marked by lavish displays of wealth, designer outfits, and multi-day celebrations.

In a time when weddings often feel more like performances, Aditi and Siddharth’s wedding reminds us of the beauty in tradition, simplicity, and love. Their decision to stay true to their roots, to focus on what matters most, and to avoid turning their wedding into a spectacle is admirable. It tugs at the heart, showing that at the end of the day, a wedding is about the love shared between two individuals.
