25-year-old Jasprit Bumrah is an exceptional bowler. He was Team India’s highest wicket-taker this Cricket World Cup and is currently No.1 in ICC’s ODI Bowlers Rankings, reports NDTV.
From elderly ladies to kids in Australia, fans across the world are recreating his unique bowling action but former Pakistan cricketer Abdul Razzaq does not seem impressed.
The Indian Express quoted him saying in an interview with Cricket Pakistan, “After having faced world-class bowlers in my time, I would have had no problem against a bowler like Bumrah. The pressure would have been on him.”
He further added,
“I have played against great bowlers like Glenn McGrath and Wasim Akram, so Bumrah is a baby bowler in front of me and I could have easily dominated and attacked him. Bumrah is doing very well and has improved a lot. He has an awkward action and hits the seam perfectly which is why he is effective.”
In the wake of his comments, desi fans have been responding by sharing jokes and memes. Check them out.

Some former players don't have anything to do but want to be in news somehow. #AbdulRazzaq

Going Left to Right.
1) What Abdul Razzaq thinks of himself.
2) What Pakistanis think of Razzaq.
3) What #AbdulRazzaq actually is. pic.twitter.com/wE7LqFcQan— Ravi (@_M0DIfied_Ravi) December 4, 2019

What do you make of the former all-rounder’s statements – overconfident or plausible?
