It’s been three years since the legendary Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam collapsed while delivering a lecture to the students at RG-IIM in Shillong. Yes, it’s been three years since the ‘missile man’ breathed his last on 27th July 2015.
Donning several hats in his life, Abdul Kalam was probably the most loved President the country has ever seen. In the phenomenal 86 years of his life, Kalam established himself as an eminent scientist, educationist, author, visionary, philanthropist, and orator.
The man who is respectfully remembered as the “People’s President and the “Missile Man”, was awarded India’s highest civilian honor “Bharat Ratna” in 1997. He has also penned down 25 books, which remain an inspiration to everyone, especially the youth of the country.
On his 3rd death anniversary, the country came together on Twitter to pay homage to the genius, who taught the country to live a simple life and think big.
It’s only apt that nation is paying homage to the late ‘Missile Man’ APJ Abdul Kalam Saab at the back of #KargilDiwas. His death today should not be the end. Lets keep his flame burning. Come on film industry we’ve seen enough of PR biopics, let’s have one on him, let’s inspire…
