“I’ve learnt a lot, become more sensible in the last 4 years all because of her,” years back, Virat Kohli thanked Anushka Sharma for teaching him a lot of things in life. The two got married later on and have been redefining couple goals ever since.
Virat has time and again been vocal about his equation with wife Anushka. He leaves no stone unturned to express his gratitude and respect towards his lady love and has always credited her for making him more patient and calm.
Recently, Virat was having a live chat with friend, former South African cricket team captain, and fellow RCBian, AB De Villiers, on Instagram. De Villiers walked down the memory lane in the off-guard chat and recalled the time when he as well as his team members first met Anushka Sharma. The cricketer said they were all very happy to meet her as they believed Virat had found someone who can atleast keep him away from the game for some time, reports HT.
He shared how before Anushka happened, he would go for endless net practices with the Indian skipper. He said:
“You always had me prove at the long cover, as you want to practice playing some balls and I was like this guy is never going to stop. Then Anushka came in – and now there is a bit of balance – there is a bit of patience, we have chat, we have lunch at restaurants – we still hit a lot of cricket balls, but there is a balance now.”
As Kohli had earlier said, “The passion for cricket is always going to be there but when you find a life partner who is just meant to be for you, things fall into perspective by themselves.”
True that! Life truly turns amazing when you find your perfect match and ‘Virushka’ are a shining example of the same.
