This Dating App Has Profiles Of Only One Person – The Founder Himself!

At one point or another, everyone finds themselves in problematic situations. But only a few handle them creatively. Like this father who tricked his daughter by ‘breastfeeding’ her with a bottle and this woman who created an Instagram handle to post pictures of herself wearing clothes her boyfriend hates.

Cnet reports that one man was so fed up with the continuous scrolling and swiping on dating apps that he decided to tackle the situation with some sense of humour.

According to NY Post, 32-year-old Aaron Smith living in North Carolina has developed a unique dating app with the help of his friend and software engineer Scott McDowell. The “Singularity” app is not run-of-the-mill because all the profiles on it are that of Aaron himself!

He was quoted saying,

“The biggest problem with the other apps is that my face is not featured prominently. If life gives you lemons, you should first make lemonade. Then make sure no other companies can produce or distribute their own soft drinks. So the only game in town is lemonade.”

Here is how it all works.

And Twitter is loving his creative genius. Here are some of the reactions to the app.

We love how his app has a limited number of profiles and ends with the message, “Yes, this is a joke, but what if it isn’t?”
