33-YO UP Guy Goes From Cleaning Airport In Australia To Owning A Million-Dollar Company

Today, we are going to tell you about the inspirational story of a young lad who even though belonged to a small town in India’s Uttar Pradesh, had big dreams and even bigger willpower to chase them.

Aamir Qutub, 33, grew up in UP’s Saharanpur but moved to Australia ten years ago for an MBA degree after he backed a scholarship for the first trimester. He did his bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University, reported Daily Mail.

The young lad was desperate to start his own business but was short of funds. “I still needed money to survive and start my business. I didn’t want to take money from my father as he had already funded Rs 5 lakh for my MBA.” He even applied for jobs in around 170 firms but in vain.

Heartbroken, he took on the job of a cleaner at an airport in Geelong, Australia where he worked from 6 to 6. Soon after, his job started affecting his studies. Hence, he quit this job and found another one of delivering newspapers early morning leaving him with enough time to study.

His hard work eventually paid off when he landed an internship at an IT firm. During his second internship at ICT Geelong, he bagged a job as an operation manager at a salary of AUD 5,000 (Rs2,69,000 approx.) on his merit.

And as fate had it, his impressive skills made him the interim General Manager of the company after his boss quit after a year or so. He worked relentlessly aiming to be a permanent GM which he actually became when he was just 25. Aamir became the youngest GM of the company.

Despite the success, his dreams of owning a business didn’t fade and he founded Enterprise Monkey Proprietor Ltd in 2014- a multinational digital firm with a presence in 4 countries. He was also bestowed the Australian Young Business Leader of the Year award. According to his website, the award-winning CEO is now an investor and tech co-founder in 4 startups.

He has been appointed as Member Geelong Authority by the Minister of Planning. Giving back to society, he co-founded ‘Angel Next Door’ during the lockdown, a community help website that allows neighbors to help each other secretly and discreetly.

The man of the hour, Aamir is currently on a mission to help students and young professionals find their paths. Kudos to this capable man who is not only working on his dreams but is also helping others to pave their path in this competitive world.
