9-Year-Old Makes A Striking Model Of Delhi’s IGI Airport, Gets Invitation To Celebrate 10th Birthday There!

Abeer Magoo is a 9-year-old student of class IV, an avid aviation enthusiast and an aspiring pilot. He loves collecting aeroplane miniatures and making models of airports. Recently, he put in a lot of hard work and created a replica of Delhi’s IGI airport which happens to be his favourite.

His proud uncle and Twitter user @AmitAgarwal22 shared photos of the model online and left everyone impressed.

Check out the attention to detail that went into creating this masterpiece.

Abeer’s mother told the Times of India in an interview,

“He has been doing it since he was five. We were going somewhere when he saw a woman pilot and wanted to be like her. He then started to collect aircraft models. He would only pick them and not toys. We now realise that this is his calling.”

Apart from getting lauded by the Twitterati, his model caught the attention of DIAL CEO Videh Kumar Jaipuriar who extended an invite to the young #avgeek to celebrate his 10th birthday at the IGI.

Abeer is now all set to ring in his birthday on the 10th of June at the Delhi airport and will also get a special tour as a reward for his hard work. We sincerely hope that Abeer fulfils his dream of joining the aviation industry and flying a plane when he grows up.
