Sometimes couples come up with uber-cool ideas for wedding cakes. A few months back, a wedding cake crafted in the size and shape of a bride with a bouquet in her hand clad in a white wedding gown made news in Dubai. The cake worth $1 million (7.15 Crore) also had edible diamonds in the form of the bride’s jewelry on it.
While you let that sink in, here’s another wedding cake that is taking the internet by the storm of late. Aiman Hakim Ridza and Zahirah Macwilson, the stars of Malaysian showbiz celebrated their wedding with an 8-tier chandelier by popular bakery Lily & Lola Cakes. The cake that hung from the ceiling at their wedding venue caught attention for its gravity-defying look, reports Republic.
Sharing the pictures and videos of the stunning cake, the cake company wrote, “This complete idea took 3 years & only finalized hours before the wedding! The bride didn’t even realize it was hanging above the whole time! So magical when the cake came down.”
The company’s founder Lily Osman, however, said that it was “not too difficult” to prepare the chandelier cake. But to hang the huge cake upside down from the ceiling was certainly a big deal she shared, reports News 18.
“We did the white cake in a week and then it took us an hour to hang it up like a chandelier. It was difficult and tricky because cakes are fragile,” she said.
The new and amazing concept of the wedding cake has left the netizens in awe.
