Encountering a criminal while doing normal, everyday things is super scary. Most of us are too shocked to do anything except acquiesce and give the criminals what they want. However, there are some who act fast and fight them off. Like the Delhi woman who dragged a chain-snatcher off his bike and beat him up.
According to BBC News, on February 5, a 77-year-old man went to withdraw money from an ATM outside a supermarket in Cardiff, South Wales. When a robber demanded he hand over his money and bank cards, he bravely punched him and drove him away.

Twitter is heaping praise on the elderly man for thwarting the robbery attempt and hoping that the criminal is put behind bars.
Good on the elderly gentleman. Great boxing stance, nice left jab & then says come on then. He has my absolute respect.

Is anywhere safe in the UK anymore to just go about your business without the threat of being mugged, knifed, beaten up, conned, raped or even murdered? Well done to the old boy, he has more grit than most members of this very sick society.

There are no two ways about the fact that the victim must have been scared. But he refused to be an easy target, overcame his fear and foiled the robber’s plans. Kudos to his bravery.
