Cops Rescue 4 YO After He’s Kidnapped From Home In Delhi & Sold Thrice In 1 Week

When I was a kid, I never understood why my parents felt scared to let me play outside during the night time. But as I grew up, I realized what their fear was. They were concerned about my safety because of the abduction cases in our locality. And sadly, kidnappings, though not like earlier, are still prevalent in today’s age and time.

Recently, a four-year-old boy was kidnapped from north Delhi’s Bhalswa Dairy, reports Hindustan Times. The child was playing outside his home when he went missing. The boy’s mother, a homemaker, approached the police when she couldn’t find him. A kidnapping case was registered and investigators began looking at CCTV footage for clues.

“Footage from one of the cameras showed a woman taking away the child. We identified her as 28-year-old Rummy, who lives in the same neighborhood,” DCP Gaurav Sharma (outer north district) was quoted saying.

Eventually, when the cops caught Rummy, she told them that she had allegedly kidnapped the child for a man called Kapil. The police sprung in action and arrested Kapil and his wife who told them that they had sold the child to a man. The couple who received Rs 70,000 for the work had outsourced the job to Rummy. However, the middleman is on the run.

Although after closely following the chain, the police found the couple who had ultimately bought the child. The Bulandshahar couple had paid Rs 4.5 lakh for the boy. They did so because they wanted a healthy child as their own son is disabled. While the husband remains on the run, his wife has now been arrested.

The child, who was kidnapped last week and sold three times, has now been rescued. As per the investigator, the middleman’s arrest will shed more light on the child-lifting racket. We’re glad the child has been safely rescued and brought back to his parents.
