Love Sushi? A Tokyo Restaurant Will Serve 3D Sushi Based On Your Saliva, Urine & Poop, We Are Not Kidding!

There is probably no foodie in this world who would reject a plate of Sushi, served with ginger, wasabi and soya sauce. The popular Japanese dish is a lip-smacking delicacy all over the world and you will be compelled to order one while at a fine dining.

And as if the dish wasn’t fascinating enough, a Japanese restaurant has decided to take their Sushi-game to a whole new level altogether.

Yes, Japanese conceptual design studio, Open Meals, has announced the opening of Sushi Singularity in Tokyo in 2020. Believe it or not, the restaurant will make customised 3D-printed sushi for each of its diners by studying samples of their bodily fluids.

The nutritional needs of the customers will be taken into strict consideration while preparing the meals in the restaurant. And therefore, in order to dine at the place, you will have to share samples of your saliva, urine and faeces.

However, the method in which the Sushi will be prepared is yet to be revealed by Open Meals. According to NDTV, the food will be prepared through a series of industrial mechanisms, including a CNC machine, a 3D printer and robotic arms. Speaking about the same, the restaurant said,

“Hyper-personalisation will become common for future foods. Based on DNA, urine and intestinal tests, people will each have individual health IDs.”

“There will be 14 cylinders with different nutrients attached to the food-fabrication machine and when it 3D prints a dish of sushi, for example, some nutrients that are necessary for the customer will be added automatically.”

Wow. Who would not want to taste a dish tailor-made for himself/herself?
