Remember how people all over India became a ‘judgemental aunty’ when rumours of Milind Soman dating his now-wife Ankita Konwar, who was 18 years old then, spread? A lot of people called their relationship “creepy” and even went on to accuse him of paedophilia. Many tend to have a lot of problem with others dating people much younger or older than themselves. It isn’t considered “normal” and people who do engage in relationships with a significant age difference tend to receive a lot of flak.
Speaking of which, an FIR has been filed against a 22-year-old guy from Agra for refusing to end his affair with a 60-year-old woman. The woman is a mother of 7 and a grandmother of 7 others, reports News18.
It was the 60-year-old woman’s husband and son who went to the police and complained about the affair. The boy along with his family was also present.
After the boy and the senior woman announced that they wanted to get married, a quarrel broke out between the two families. When both the families asked the two to end their relationship, they refused and stayed adamant.
The cops were forced to file an FIR against the guy for the “disruption of peace in the area”.
