13 Innocent Ways We Trolled Our Teachers In School

School Days: the most amazing days of our lives when there were no real responsibilities apart from completing homework on time. A funny period of time when teachers and principals were considered as the greatest enemies of our life.

Wouldn’t it be fun recollecting the innocent ways we used to troll our teachers.

1. Eating Tiffin during class – under the table

Nothing can beat the thrill of sharing bits of Aloo paratha with friends while the teacher is busy explaining Geometry.

2. Taking notes:  Look at teacher, act as if you’re writing

Takes a lot of effort to write nothing. 😉

3. Instead, make cartoons of the teacher

The small pleasure of the whole class appreciating your ‘work of art’ is priceless.

4. The teacher never knows what’s under the table – Nagraj, Mills and Boon, magazines, the list goes on

The excitement of getting caught made this activity more fun.

5. Passing love notes (co-ed schools)

Love birds passing cute nothings on small notes while their friends become messengers: Every co-ed classroom ever.

6. Cheat during class tests and not get caught

Right under the nose of the teacher. Hell yeah!

7. Pre-planned bunk – the most abused technique that works everytime

Class going on. A friend from another section, “Sir, may I come in?”

Teacher, “Yes, tell me”

Friend, “Sir, we’re working on a science project, we need Rahul”

Rahul makes the most serious face on the entire planet.

5 mins later. High fives.

8. Assigning nicknames to teachers

Every teacher has to have a nickname. There has been no exception to this rule, ever.

9. Sleeping like a Ninja during the class

Students with glasses had unfair advantage.

10. Slightly remove mouse and keyboard USB, tell teacher that computer froze. Enjoy the show.

11. Class tests: Don’t know answer, no problem. Repeat question, change voice, just fill the space

12. Teacher asks a question, HIDE!! Stop making eye contact

Unless she calls my name, I ain’t looking at her.

13. In the end, the teachers always troll you back

And you lose.

It’s a battle worth losing coz today when we look back at those fun years, the respect for our teachers only grows. As Henry Adams famously said,

“A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops”

Thank you, teachers.
