What’s shocking is that she hails from Alirajpur in Madhya Pradesh which has one of the lowest literacy rates in the country.

Sharada Dawar did what very few people can even think of doing. She went to the district collector and repaid Rs 10,000 which he had given her a few months ago to complete her studies.

This humble girl who is overwhelmed with the recognition said,

“Many people from various places called me and congratulated me for my self-respect and success. Some senior officers of the administration and education department came to village to meet me and said that they will honour me.”

Her noble deed hasn’t gone unnoticed by many and the girl has been lauded for her achievements and self-respect.

Sharada we wish you soar high and all your dreams come true. 🙂
