This Video Of A Dog Meeting His Dying Owner Will Break Your Heart

A dog’s love is pure and of course, more than a human’s. I am not making this one up. Ask anyone who has a baby in form of the four-legged-walking-epitome-of-love, they’ll agree. While a dog’s passing away is heartbreaking, can you imagine how a dog feels when his/her owner passes away?

It happened to Molly whose human, Ryan Jessen, passed away last month due to ventricular brain haemorrhage. Before Ryan passed away, the hospital did the sweetest gesture. They allowed Molly to come to the hospital and visit Ryan for the last time.

Ryan’s sister, Michelle Jessen, took to Facebook to share the heart-rending post. She wrote,

“The hospital did the sweetest thing for us and allowed us to bring my brother’s dog in to ‘say goodbye’ so she’d know why her human never came home. If you knew my brother, he really loved his sweet dog.”

In another post, she mentioned how her brother’s death was sudden and they thought he had migrane but it was haemorrhage. And, also how her brother’s heart is going to be donated to a 17-year-old boy in Canada whose birthday is on Christmas day.

The short video that captures the tender moment was meant for family, but it got a huge response from all over the world. Jessen said,

“We are sincerely touched and humbled by others’ stories, their sharing in our sadness and the kindness of so many people. Don’t worry about the dog! We’re keeping her!!! She’s part of the family.”

It’s really, really sad. May Ryan’s soul rest in peace.
