The Trailer Of Gurinder Chadha’s ‘Viceroy’s House’ Has Brilliant Written All Over It!

It has now been over 69 years that India secured freedom from the British Raj and got divided into two separate nations. The transition from a foreign colony to a self-governed country was a great ordeal as countless people were forced to leave their homes and belongings, there were riots on streets and millions lost their lives.

The trailer of ‘Viceroy’s House’, uploaded by Bend It Networks showcases those last moments of India’s independence movement. The movie, directed by Gurinder Chadha gives an inside peek of the Viceroy’s house during the final days of the British Raj. Lord Mountbatten, the last viceroy of India is portrayed by renowned actor Hugh Bonneville and Gillian Anderson plays Lady Mountbatten in the movie. Distinguished actors like Huma Qureshi and Om Puri also feature in the star cast of the movie.

The trailer looks epic and gives a chance to look at the most crucial time in the Indian history from a completely new perspective. March 2017 cannot be here soon enough!
