11 Girls Rode To The Khardung La Pass On TVS Scooty Zest. Here’s Their Amazing Story!

Do you know what it’s like to scale heights? To work really hard to get to the top one step at a time? Because these 11 girls know what it feels like. They know what it’s like to brave bad weather, to scale up heights one speed limit at a time and then to stand atop and breathe the air of victory, of achievement and of freedom.

In 2015, Anam Hashim rode a TVS Scooty Zest to Khardung La Pass.

tvs-1Anam Hashim on her TVS Scooty Zest, made this great journey to Khardung La Pass, the world’s highest motorable road, with a height of 18,000ft. Making TVS Scooty Zest the first scooter to reach such insurmountable heights!

This year, Himalayan Highs Season 2 returns with 11 women cruising to the top of Khardung La Pass, with just as much determination.

11 riders, 11 scooties and a lot of zest for adventure, experience and life. While the journey itself is a treat to the eyes, critically acclaimed director Amit Masurkar (of Sulemani Keeda fame) adds his own creative touch to the project.

The themes uncovered on their journey makes you feel like you were right there, experiencing everything first hand!

Amit infuses a fresh perspective to each webisode; a treatment never witnessed before in the Indian webseries scene. It adds to the beauty, charm & a theme to the already exhilarating episodes.

Whether it was their instant friendship with each other and momos!

According to Dunbar’s theory, you can only have 150 friends in life and if that theory has any truth to it, I think all the 11 would make it to each other’s list. Their ride not only was an outlet to express their passion but also an inlet to a whole lot of like minded friends!

Or the colours that gave them a whole new perspective to life.

They experienced colours like they’ve never done before. Whether it was the reflecting blue of the water, or the deep green of the valleys or even the dusty ochre of the sand dunes. They witnessed the colours of life, in spirit and in body.

Watch them discover all of this, and so much more on the awesomely made Himalayan Highs webisodes!

All thanks to a zest for life that TVS Scooty has explored! Watch the rest of the webisodes on their channel and be prepared for a dose of inspiration.

It’s time we reached for the Highs!
