On Monday, Minister of Human Resource Development, Prakash Javadekar released ‘INDIA RANKINGs 2017’, the official higher education rankings for the best colleges and universities in the nation.
The better an institute fare in these rankings, the greater amount they receive from the government as grants and funds. The institutes have been ranked on the basis of teaching, learning and resources, research and professional practices, graduation outcomes, outreach and inclusivity, and perception.
