God, 2017 just got a whole lot better! Didn’t you hear? ‘Mission impossible 6’ is going to be shot in India and Tom Cruise fans have a reason to rejoice! Yes, parts of ‘Mission Impossible 4-Ghost Protocol’–the same that starred our very own Anil Kapoor–were shot in Mumbai and Bengaluru but allegedly it was not Tom but his body double, moving around in the bylanes of Mumbai.

But a bird just flew in this time and it’s confirmed. The sixth film of the ‘Mission Impossible’ franchise will have Tom doing stunts in India and it’ll be nothing like you’ve seen before.

Talking about the bird, it was a tweet by The Tracking Board’s Jeff Sneider that gave us a reason to hop in joy!

The film will also be shot in Paris and New Zealand.

If that wasn’t enough (or the fact that Tom has earlier, hung outside the Burj Khalifa in Dubai for M:I) David Ellison, the producer of M:I 6, has told an entertainment website that this time stunts will be better and bigger.

“We’re thrilled. Chris is back, obviously, writing and directing after Rogue Nation. We could not be more excited about the character Henry Cavill’s going to play. And I will say after the Burj (Khalifa) we thought it was going to be impossible to top that stunt, and then Tom did the A400M for the plane. What Tom is doing in this movie I believe will top anything that’s come before. It is absolutely unbelievable—he’s been training for a year. It is going to be, I believe, the most impressive and unbelievable thing that Tom Cruise has done in a movie, and he has been working on it since right after Rogue Nation came out. It’s gonna be mind-blowing.”

Reaffirming on that, Christopher McQuarrie, writer/director of M:I 6 also had something to say!

Now, isn’t that something to hold on to?!
