This 13 Year Old Girl Entered Prostitution Just To Buy A Smartphone!

A 13 year old Gujarati girl turned to prostitution in order to purchase high end gadgets. The news shocked the girl’s mother and counsellor who had absolutely no clue about such practice. Her mother, who own a grocery store came to know about this news last week. A counsellor of 181 Abhayam service said, “The girl told her mother about her act when she thought that she had become pregnant. Her mother was shocked when she learnt that her daughter had turned to prostitution,”

The girl was born in Anand and adopted by her parents as an infant. Her father died three years ago which led her mother to run a grocery store in Subhanpura and that created a rift between their relationship as they couldn’t spend much time together. Mother working all day long left the girl with a vacant house which she used for prostitution. She was using a secret secondary phone to fix up her clients.

Duting the councelling session, the teenager said that she was doing this because she wants to own a smart phone and other gadgets like her friends. Many high-end electronic gadgets and mobile phones were also found in her possession. She also spent a huge amount of time trying to explain the counsellor that what she was doing was not wrong. She came out as a defiant teenager who had fallen into bad company.
