India-Pakistan relations have been a part of a lot of debates and diplomatic talks and the and the bi-lateral relations or results are far away from what one expected. Having said that, the present case in the court, leaves one hopeful, wanting for more.
The case pertains to Uzma, an Indian woman who has been staying at the Indian High Commission in Islamabad, after accusing a Pakistani man named Tahir Ali of marrying her at gunpoint.
Now the development is, Uzma has returned to India on Thursday through the Wagah Border crossing near Amritsar.

In her early 20’s, Uzma who actually hails from New Delhi is fighting her case, accusing Tahir Ali of forcing her into marrying him in Pakistan on May 3.
According to reports, Uzma petitioned the Islamabad High Court on May 12, seeking permission to return home urgently as her daughter from her first marriage in India is sick.

she is said to be suffering from thalassemia, a blood disorder characterised by abnormal haemoglobin production. Meanwhile, Tahir Ali has refused the allegations claiming that the duo met and fell in love in Malaysia before they decided to get married.
However, now that Uzma is back in the country, Sushma Swaraj, the minister of External Affairs took to Twitter to welcome ‘India’s daughter’ back.
