After Zayn Malik left One Direction and whipped up quite a name for himself with his music, another member of the boy band has decided to venture out on a solo Direction.
Harry Styles has decided to go solo with his own music. The young gun has signed a deal with Columbia Records which is also One Direction’s label. The band took a break in 2015 and there are no signs of the band coming together anytime soon.
Quoting Simon Cowell, their mentor, “I don’t know if it’s a hiatus or a breakup, to be honest. In a weird way, I don’t want to know.” He said, “I don’t think they’ve had enough time to experience what it’s like not being in the group to really answer that.”
It’s not just independent music that is on Style’s agenda.
The 22-year-old is currently filming for the next Nolan movie and acting is definitely one of the directions this singer will follow.
As a source told E! News, “He certainly has hopes of doing solo stuff, branching out on his own, and so this might be the natural juncture in which to do that.”
