Often in life, we go through innumerable problems. These surmount into either a setback, or a lesson, or both. And we find it difficult to go through them because no one gave us the guidelines in the first place.
Barcelona-born artist Alex Noriega went through the same cycle when he was in a job he was unsure of. He started these illustrations, calling them Stuff No One Told Me, or SNOTM for short, as a way to cope with the crisis in his life. He says,
“At some point in 2010 I was going through a crisis due to some issues at work, so I decided to start this blog as a way of trying to find what I was doing wrong. I wanted to put on paper all that I had learned in life as simple as possible and try to see if what was happening around me made sense. It didn´t.”
