11 Ways Of Staying Healthy When You Don’t Have Enough Time To Work Out

After you get out of the college, where there was too much running around and a lot of physical activities, your metabolism decreases due to a sudden dip in body movement. Especially for people with desk jobs, life changes drastically when you spend good 9 hours of your day sitting in one place.

But, no one can ignore the fact that you work all day and the fatigue doesn’t leave you in a state of working out every morning or evening. A little willpower would help there, but again, no good gyms in your area, financial problems etc can be in the list too. I have met a number of people who want to stay fit, but can’t, due to some reason or the other. For them, I’ve compiled this list.

So, if you don’t work out, then don’t worry. There are many different ways of staying fit.

1. Take the stairs. Say no to elevators.

Stair climbing can have a significant and positive impact on your health. It’s a vigorous physical activity and burns more calories per minute than jogging. It improves your cardiovascular fitness, strengthens your musculoskeletal system, reduces the risk of heart disease, stroke, some cancers, obesity, diabetes etc. and keeps your muscles toned.

2. Say goodbye to fried & processed food

It damages both your body and brain adversely. Your body needs food that it can easily digest without clogging the body mechanism. The ill effects of fried food are so obvious, that you won’t have to wait for a month to see it on your body. Processed Foods, on the other hand, are dead food with calories but almost no nutrients!

3. Walk or use bicycle for going to work

You think it will help you lose weight, but it won’t. On the contrary, your body starts to wonder why it’s not getting any food and it will go into starvation mode. That leads to slower metabolism and hence slower weight loss. There is a big difference between cutting calories and skipping meals.

11. Track every part of your day using Fitbit & stay fit

Fitbit tracks every part of your day—including activity, exercise, food, weight, and sleep—to help you find your fit, stay motivated, and see how small steps make a big impact.

Staying fit isn’t so hard after all.
