SRK’s Emotional Message For Kids On His Father’s Death Anniversary Will Win Your Heart

He’s a King, a Badshah, Simran’s Raj and the ultimate lover on the celluloid.

But these surreal qualities aside, he is also a hardworking superstar, a dynamic orator, a family man through and through, and the wittiest man in the room.

The phenomenon that is Shah Rukh Khan can hardly be described in a few words. And mind you, the man loves his words. His countless interviews, award show monologues and Twitter timeline will vouch for that.

If there’s anything that gets him all candid and passionate, it is either his art or his family. Whether it is his parents, his wife, Gauri, or his three beautiful children, Aryan, Suhana and AbRam.

Before his ‘Mannat’ was turned into a reality, Shah Rukh was just any regular guy from Delhi, who dropped out of college to pursue acting and eventually ended up in the city of dreams, Mumbai. He married his sweetheart of six years, Gauri in 1991, way before his Bollywood dreams were realised and she has been a stellar partner in his every achievement.

However, his parents couldn’t be there to watch their son scale the peaks of superstardom. SRK lost his father, Meer Taj Mohammed Khan, to cancer in 1981, and his mother, Lateef Fatima, passed away in 1991.

There’s no denying that Shah Rukh is doing an amazing job of raising his kids under the harsh spotlight of stardom. He has often spoken up on various occasions, either in protective defence or lovable candour about his children on social media.

SRK is your typical dad when it comes to his kids and that’s quite evident from his interviews. Like the one where he talks about being a doting father to his three kids.

Or remember that time when he shared a seven-step guide for any guy hoping to date his darling daughter Suhana?

And let’s not even get started at the adorable selfies he keeps posting with Aryan and AbRam!

And today, on the death anniversary of his father, SRK has yet again taken to Twitter to talk about two generations of his family: the past and the future.

In his tweet, SRK talks about how he doesn’t want his children to grow up too soon. His only duty, as a father, is to make sure they relish in their childhood innocence for as long as possible.

Those are some admirable sentiments, aren’t they? Twitter surely thinks so!

1. There were blessings galore.

2. So much truth in this one tweet!

3. SRK’s words are soothing people’s pain…

It’s wonderful to watch a son remember his father by striving to be a better father himself!

We <3 you SRK, not just for setting #RomanceGoals but even #DadGoals too!
