Shah Rukh Khan Says He Is Ready To Sell His Pants To Buy MS Dhoni For KKR. No Kidding!

Harsh Goenka aside, there aren’t a lot of people in the nation who don’t admire MS Dhoni and his playing style. Mahi has wowed the world with his ability to hit like a hurricane, sprint like a cheetah, dive like a ninja and stump like a lightning bolt on the ground. Add his decision-making and quick-witted skills and voilà, you’ve got a champion!

So it is natural for Dhoni to have a large number of fans and admirers, and it seems like it is not just us who are crazy for him but the ‘King of Bollywood’, Shah Rukh Khan is pretty gaga over his skills too.

In a recently surfaced interview for Sportswallah, Shah Rukh Khan mentioned his wish to have MS Dhoni play for his team, ‘Kolkata Knight Riders’ in the IPL. SRK’s choice of words suggests that he really(!) wants Dhoni to sport the purple jersey.

“I’m ready to purchase Dhoni even if it means selling off my pyjama, but he never appears under the hammer in IPL auctions.”

 

SRK’s sensational comment came after he complimented the reporter for his phone cover, which had ‘Dhoni 7’ written on the back.

 

After Chennai got banned for two seasons, Dhoni had to ditch the yellow jersey and join the ‘Rising Pune Supergiant’. With the Chennai team set to make a comeback next year, it seems like SRK would have to go the extra mile to get him to KKR.
