Sonu Nigam Breaks Silence About His ‘Azaan’ Tweets But Ends Up In Another Tiff With Wajid Khan

Religious (in)tolerance is a very grave and sensitive topic in India.

If you have doubts about the aforementioned let me remind you, it was only yesterday when Sonu Nigam woke up to Azaan and slept to a severe backlash that came as a result of his opinion and tweets about ‘forced religiousness’. If you’re not in the know, his early morning rant looked like this.

Needless to say, it divided the entire nation and invited a lot of criticism. Including subtle digs from fellow members of the industry (cue: Pooja Bhatt)

 

However, the singer has now had enough. He took to Twitter again and left a message for the all the haters out there.

While that should have been it, Sonu has found himself in another tiff and this time with composer, Wajid Khan from Sajid-Wajid fame. It started when Wajid tweeted this,
