‘Should actors sing?’ Now, that’s an elaborate debate in tinselville that has been going on for a while now. But we will discuss it some other day. Right now, we are kind of tripping over Sonakshi Sinha’s conversation with Armaan Malik – who BTW gleefully crooned ‘Uff Yeh Noor’ for her film but is now siding with Kailash Kher over actors shouldn’t sing on stage statement. Confused? Let’s clear it up.

When news of Sonakshi Sinha bagging an opening act slot for Justin Bieber’s India concert broke on May 10, singer Kailash Kher didn’t seem too happy.

He expressed his views that when an international singer comes to India, an actor is put at par with them on stage and not a singer. So, that would send a wrong message to international audiences.

 

Taking Kher’s side, singer Armaan Malik sang a different tune and said,

But that didn’t end there, Armaan had some explanation to do.
