Sona Mohapatra Slams Miss Malini For Favouritism At IIFA In Just Three Tweets!

Remember the time when award-winning singer Neha Bhasin slammed Bollywood Blogger Miss Malini for favouritism on the red carpet, after the latter refused to interview the former at IIFA 2017? Yes, the same episode that exposed the dire state and double-standards that exist in the industry and the mainstream media.

Now, while we were still recuperating from that, another bright name from the music fraternity has raised her voice and it makes sense like nothing does. It is none other than Sona Mohapatra.

Sona who is known to speak her mind, picked up after Neha when she posted about a melodious gala of singers in the august presence of Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle. While the picture speaks of their unity, her words reflect her anguish.

According to her Instagram, Sonu Nigam hosted the evening for the maestros to assemble and probably sing their hearts out.

She even took not-so-subtle digs at Miss Malini and Co. for sidelining singers and artists. 

That apart, to want to be 'interviewed' by Miss Malini shouldn't be part of any ones aspirations.Zayed Khan & Co. are perfect choices.Xoxo 😼

In fact, she also lambasted IIFA (and other ‘Bolly awards’) saying the obvious- fluff over stuff.

Needless to say, her tweets alleviate the much-needed discussion of the hour but will the flag-bearers of favouritism change their approach? Only time will tell.
