Sometimes we fail to realise how incredible nature is. It is only when we see a tiger in its majestic form, we realise that we would not last 2 milliseconds in the wild with it around. And just as a tiger has evolved to kill efficiently, almost every surviving animal and plant has evolved in an awesome way.
To prove how awesome evolution and camouflage is, take a look at the snake in the picture below.
Received this from a fellow HERper this morning. No caption needed, the task was implied: "can you spot the snake?" 🐍 pic.twitter.com/oVkjOm8ufy

Oh, there is a snake in that picture! If you had a hard time finding it, it’s ok! Because unlike the normal ‘find the object’ photos, this one is a definite hard job!
Even the person who posted it, Helen, had a hard time spotting the snake. And she has a PhD in the subject! Ok, we will make it easier for you –
If y'all haven't found it yet… Copperhead, aka Agkistrodon contortrix. Cute but venomous, so no touchy! ☺️🐍❤️ pic.twitter.com/pSVMIhFP0o

The snake is a copperhead snake, a very venomous species and deadly.
So, if you were walking through the forest in this picture, would you have spotted it?
Nope!
