Shirish Kunder Responds To Plagiarism Claims By Slapping A Legal Notice On The Nepali Filmmaker!

The release of Shirish Kunder’s short film received the attention the story deserved but with it brought a shadow of the doubt with it.

A Nepalese filmmaker, Aneel Neupane accused Shirish Kunder of copying the storyline of Kriti from his own short film named Bob which incidentally does have more similarities than differences.

He made a very public Facebook post citing how it made him sad to see things like this to happen.

The timeline of both the short films is slightly sketchy with respect to each other.

And now in an interesting turn of events, Shirish Kunder has slapped a legal notice on the Nepali filmmaker and has asked for a full-fledged written apology for his claim.

Furthermore, he has asked the filmmaker to take down his short film. Kunder has demanded that Neupane refrains from making any oral or written comments on “Kriti” as well.

Now, let’s see how this pans out for either of the two, the movies and the directors.
