Pulkit Samrat is one of the promising names in Bollywood but his personal life has been no less than turbulent. Now that the world is not unaware of the conjugal troubles of Pulkit and his estranged wife Shweta Rohira, with Yami Gautam being a catalyst, here’s the two sides of the story which you might be interested in.

Shweta, who is a Rakhi sister to Salman Khan, was told by Pulkit that he has to call it quits because things have gone bad in his family who never really approved of her. When asked if Pulkit’s allegations of her spreading rumours about him and leaking out stories of her miscarriage her response was curt but potent.
If I was into spreading stories, would I have benefited hiding myself as his girlfriend for 5 full years? Wouldn’t I have leaked that out then itself?
However, in Shweta’s words, it wasn’t just Pulkit’s family that was responsible for the split. Apparently, Yami Gautam had a chief role as well and she didn’t have anything but contempt for the actor in her words.
I was living in an illusion. I trusted Pulkit. The film industry is a very small world. I get to know things about him even if I don’t want to. Yami was the smoke that led to whatever happened between Pulkit and me. She is a home-breaker. Pulkit has always led a dual life for some reason. He did not declare me as his wife for the longest time, and now he is saying that he is not dating Yami. It’s time he becomes transparent. All said and done, my marriage with Pulkit was a mistake and I have learnt the lesson the hard way.
However, Pulkit Samrat had a different take on the story, saying Shweta had always been unreasonably insecure and even alleged him of having affairs with women who tied Rakhi to him.
Pulkit also pointed out that it wasn’t Yami or anyone else to blame but Shweta’s mother as she had trying to live her life through her daughter. Shweta being a shadow of her mother was too much for Pulkit to bear after a point of time. Also, bringing out miscarriage, a matter of personal grief out there in the public was also something uncalled for.
When asked about Yami, this what he had to say:Â
It’s sad. Firstly, I think she has got real strength, more than me, to maintain a dignified silence. I think she has been on the receiving end of this entire campaign, which aims to malign me and her, because we were shooting for two back-to-back films.
Looks like a plot straight out of a complicated French romance novel.
