Trailer Of ‘Haseena Parkar’ Is Out And Looks Like Shraddha Kapoor’s Putting All The Chips In

You have seen her in bubbly and vivacious roles. But this time around, Shraddha Kapoor is embracing the dark side. And, that too as none other than Haseena Parkar — Dawood Ibrahim’s ‘Aapa’ who is known as the Godmother of Mumbai’s Nagpada area.

Helmed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film’s trailer (uploaded Swiss Entertainment) is out and we can see Shraddha’s new avatar. The teaser had us quite impressed and after seeing the trailer, we can assume that Shraddha’s is putting all her chips in. The biographical crime drama documents Haseena’s journey right from her teens to how she became the Godmother of Nagpada.

So far the trailer looks good, but it is the background score that has us intrigued. Sounding eerily similar to RGV’s Sarkar, the film sets the underworld tone just about it. Slated to release on August 18, the film also sees Shraddha’s real life brother Siddhanth Kapoor essaying the role of Dawood.
