Shobhaa De Insulted The Indian Olympic Team And Twitter BURNT Her, One Tweet At A Time!

Shobhaa De isn’t quite famous for her views towards current affairs, which are a bit too liberal and bold for everyone’s tastes. She hops from one controversy to another and her Twitter is always full with people blasting her left, right, and center.

Recently, Shobhaa De chose the Indian Olympic Team (and their lack of wins) as the new receiver for her fury. This is what she tweeted.

Goal of Team India at the Olympics: Rio jao. Selfies lo. Khaali haat wapas aao. What a waste of money and opportunity.

And then Twitter went ballistic. De was thrashed royally for her rather unpatriotic message and was called out everything from a soft porn author to a scare to babies.
