“I Don’t Think She Made A Direct Comment On Anybody,” Shahid Defends Mira’s ‘Puppy’ Comment

Mira Rajput was strongly criticised for voicing her opinions where she explained why she chose to stay back at home and look after her baby.

She was also criticised for demeaning women who choose career over being a homemaker. People also went into overdrive because she said that ‘Misha is not a puppy’ that she can leave at home and go to work.

Shahid Kapoor, like a good husband, stood up for his wife and pointed out the fact that Mira was only voicing her personal comments. He also said that she was speaking for a section of women who are not really represented in the society.
