Mira Rajput, for a while now, has been the eye of controversies. From being criticised about her stand on feminism of today to drawing flak because of her ‘puppy‘ analogy, Mira has managed to irk a lot of people. But, if you look at the hindsight, hubby Shahid has always got her back.

In fact, earlier, Shahid came out defending Mira, stating that those were personal comments and should be taken as such. Now, Sasha, as any other loving husband, has opened up about parenthood and his anxiety as an expecting father!

Speaking at an event recently, Shahid laid out his feelings about the time Mira was pregnant with Misha and he was pregnant with anxiety.

“It’s nice to say ‘we’ were pregnant because it gives you a sense of participation.

When she was in labour, I held my breath. At one point, I got dizzy and she whacked me and said, ‘Why are you getting dizzy? I’m doing all the work here.'”

He said so at the India Today Woman Summit 2017.

Shahid even went on to add, that it was really Misha who made him fall in love with his wife.

Hello world. 🌼

“Relationships are about experiences that you share together; that’s how you fall in love. For Mira and me, Misha was our first project together. We felt a sense of togetherness and companionship.”

That’s not all. Shahid also spoke about his smoking and how he could never give up before Misha came along.

“I made a promise to my wife, so I quit smoking. She said ‘You can’t touch the baby if you smoke’ and that was that.”

I don’t know about you, but Shahid definitely has my vote for the best husband/father award. Not just because he is a celebrity (with the looks of a Greek God) but because he is pioneering the league of B-town daddies, who do not think that only the mother is responsible for the child!
