‘Twitter Serial Killer’ Used Twitter To Murder 9 People. He’d Chop And Store Their Bodies.

The world is not all rainbows and unicorns and there are people out there who resort to psychotic crimes to satiate their own twisted, sadistic wants. One such category of people are serial killers who do not have any motivation to kill innocent people but do it anyway because they get off on it.

In a similar incident, 27-year-old killer, Takahiro Shiraishi, was arrested in Tokyo, Japan for killing nine people which included eight women and one man in two months, and dismembered their bodies at his flat.

As reported by Mirror, the accused confessed that he met his victims on Twitter and all of them had expressed suicidal thoughts using which he lured them to his apartment with offers of providing them help to die.

The matter came to light after the brother of a 23-year-old victim reported her missing and while searching for her, police came across Shiraishi’s house. After reporting her missing, her brother began going through her social media and came across a message posted on her Twitter which said “looking for someone who will die with me”, that she “wants to die, but is scared of dying alone.”

The serial killer confessed that the murders were motivated by rape and money. He admitted to have stolen around 500,000 yen (₹2,83,604) from one of his victims. He told the police,

“I couldn’t throw away (the bodies) out of fear for being caught.”

The police discovered about 240 bones from his apartment and also a saw which he admitted to have used to dismember the bodies in his bathroom and store them in separate coolers in the apartment. He was captured by the CCTV camera near his house where he was seen with the missing woman. Atleast two severed heads were found inside the house as well.
