Gang Raped And Sold To Men, Speech Impaired Teen Writes To Tell Police Her Horror Story

There are no two ways to say it but demons walk amongst us. The demons who know nothing about love, kindness or being ‘human’. And if these demons are not shut off, I kid you not, global warming or apocalypse will not be the reason that humanity will die a slow, painful death. It will be all of us.

Imagine the horror of this 14-year-old from Saharanpur UP, who first lost her parents, was gang-raped, sold off like a commodity and couldn’t even speak about her ordeal. The world is a giant mess, you know. And she braved all through it, I will call her Rani.

Rani was very young when her parents moved from West Bengal to Saharanpur, UP in search of a livelihood. According to a Hindustan Times report, they started working in a local factory. Unfortunately, health problems took their life and a 14-year-old Rani was left all alone.

The girl was a class 8 drop out and had a speech problem, which worsened with time. At the tender of 14, she started working as the house help. Fukran was the man who gave her a job. Priyanjali Mishra, who is counselling the girl and monitoring the case with the police, said,

“Furkan used to rape the girl, then a minor, when she worked at his house in Saharanpur. Later, he and his wife roped in Akshay and they sold her to Mehdi Hasan and Saad Malik of Ghaziabad.”

To identify the correct sequence of the events, the girl remembered everything she has gone through in the past five years and gave the police in writing. Mishra tells HT what Rani told her,

“As per the victim, Akshay, Hasan and Malik also raped her before selling her to Anil Kashyap in Murad Nagar.”

According to the police, Kashyap raped Rani and forced her to marry him. After the Saharanpur police got a call about the girl, on July 1, extensive search operation began. By July 11, they had traced the girl to Kashyap’s house. Chandramohan Srivastava, district probation officer said,

The men are all booked and police suspects a bigger human-trafficking racket. Ghaziabad District Magistrate, Ministhy S has personally taken the case and is working on it.

Chills run down my spine thinking about what the girl has gone through and my heart breaks to know that she is not the only one who is going through the horror. We really hope Rani finds the courage to begin her life again and all the evil perpetrators get severely punished.
