11 Things You Face When You Have A ‘Fattu’ Friend

Fattu- Someone who is basically scared of doing anything and everything, for God knows what reason.

We all have that one friend who we can easily label fattu, because hello, they will always piss all over your plans for doing anything remotely exciting and fun.

Here are the things you face when you have a friend you’ve proudly labelled ‘fattu’.

1. They will never, ever take a risk, no matter how silly the risk might be

“Don’t carry an extra pen, they’re providing one from college.”
*carries 27 pens and pencils anyway*

 

2. Cheating in an exam? Don’t count on them to tell you the answers

No matter how much they promise they’ll show you answers in the exam, they definitely will back out at the crucial moment. Because, obviously.

 

3. You’ll watch them swim in the pool of their own sweat when they’re trying to talk to a person from the opposite sex

Seriously, dude?

 

4. You’ve obviously stopped counting how often you call them ‘fattu’

Not enough fingers in the world to count that on, tbh.

 

5. Even if it’s something as simple as returning something they didn’t like, they’ll hesitate like crazy

“Dude, please ask him to take this away, I don’t like it.” DO IT YOURSELF, MATE.

 

6. Needless to say, they will take you along when there’s scope for a bargain anywhere

7. You have to make them swear a million times that they won’t ditch you at the last minute, when you make an unconventional plan

“Don’t you dare.” “Promise” *Ditches 10 minutes later*

 

8. But when you get caught along with them, they can’t help but confess to it

If it’s not their words, it’s their body language (read: them swimming in the puddle of their own sweat).

 

9. Because of them, though, you get a ton of free entertainment

When they do stupid things, like trying to talk to people they’re afraid of. Always fun to watch, that.

 

10. When they actually do something daring and out of their comfort zone, it makes you happy

It’s like you’ve taught them, and you’ve taught them well.

 

11. And you’re pretty sure that someday, you won’t feel the need to call them a ‘fattu’ anymore
