“My films are hardcore commercial films catering to a particular audience. I start getting that feeling that it won’t work at that level. I have been right about it twice or thrice.”

Rohit Shetty says that he and his whole team always sit together and figure out reasons of why a film worked or did not work at the box office.

“We rectify ourselves…what all went wrong. Even if it is a hit, the whole team sits together and we introspect.”

Speaking about his box office drops ‘Dilwale’ and ‘Singham Returns’, Rohit says that it never brought him down. He and his team learn from failures and move forward.

“In Singham Returns, the character went wrong. Dilwale… the whole Kajol-Shah Rukh story went wrong. You come to know where you are going wrong. And then you rectify and move forward.”

Failures aren’t failures once you decide to learn from them. Isn’t it? That’s how Rohit Shetty takes life and keeps going from strength to strength.
