And now, Sharmaji ka beta, Rohit Sharma, has become the first player on the planet to slam THREE double tons in an ODI match!

For those living under a rock, Rohit Sharma, the acting captain of Team India, just scored his 3rd double century in the second ODI against Sri Lanka in Mohali, overtaking stalwarts like Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Martin Guptill and Chris Gayle on the scoreboard!

To talk stats, he scored his 16th ODI hundred off 115 balls and then went on to score the second ton off a mere 36 balls! WHAT! In fact, in one of the overs, he hit Sri Lankan bowler Suranga Lakmal for four sixes!

With his indomitable 208 not out, Rohit Sharma become the first captain to score a double ton in the history of cricket. Thanks to him, India put up a 300 plus score on the board, which made us the first team to accomplish this feat!
