“I heard the story and found it interesting. But, it is not possible to act in it. I am a proud Indian. If Pakistan is a terrorist state, I don’t want to be a part of them.”

Rishi Kapoor also spoke about how he feels about the ban on Pakistani actors. He says that it is very upsetting that no Pakistani actor condemned the Uri attack. He supports the ban on the actors but not on the movies.

“Pakistani actors even refused to denounce the Uri attacks, for which I am a little upset. But we can’t ban the films that have been already made, because there is so much money involved.”

Talking about his son, actor Rishi Kapoor says that Ranbir has always done a lot of off-beat movies. He says that Ranbir always looks for content in his films and that makes him very proud.

“One has seen that Ranbir has done films off the curve, and has also been appreciated for it. It is credible that he has set that trend. It is not only about taking up easy subjects. You must do something that is content-based.”

Ranbir Kapoor has seen a major box office drop after his film ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’.

Rishi Kapoor understands that a few of Ranbir’s movies did not fare well at the box office. Rishi says that everyone encounters a bad patch in life and so has Ranbir.

“I admire the fact that he is passionate about his work. He loves his work. He gets into the skin of his characters. He is involved in the craft. No actor in the world has a 100% success record.”

“Everybody is going to have ups and downs. I know the boy had hit a bad patch. His films didn’t do well. That happens with everybody.”

Ranbir is now all set to make a comeback with the movie ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ which has finally got a green card.

Rishi also spoke about Ranbir and Aishwarya’s on-screen chemistry in ADHM. He said that they look stunning together!

“Aishwarya and Ranbir are looking lovely and the audience is looking forward to the film. Karan Johar makes movies with so much passion, just like the way the late Yash Chopra did.”

Time and again Ranbir has proved his mettle in the acting world. His movies ‘Tamasha’ and ‘Bombay Velvet’ have let him down in terms of grossing well at the box office.

Rishi Kapoor and all of Ranbir’s loyal fans are rooting for Ranbir to make a comeback.
